I am using open cart 1.5.6.4. I uploaded the openshop extension to my shop and extracted it there. Now when I go to my shop/vqmod/install I get this: Administrator index.php not writeable

I have checked vqmod/xml, vqmod/xml/OpenShop and vqmod/vqcache and index.php and all are writeable. What am I missing? Please help, store has been down for two days.

You already have it. Just make it writable (777 rights).

I uploaded the admin index.php to my admin folder. When i go to myshop.com/vqmod/install it says already installed. When i go to my shop i get a white screen. When i try to go to my shop/admin i get: The requested URL /rkprotection/install.txt/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have everything solved, but now i have a different problem. I can not upload a new product image, I click upload, select the image and the little upload wheel just keeps spinning. What now?

Check if image folder and all its contents are writable.

Every thing is writeable. If I wait about 15 seconds, change folders then come back, the image is uploaded.
